The Saturday before Halloween we went to another pumpkin patch, this one in Monte Vista. However, we didn't get there until late in the afternoon and there were no more pumpkins! But we did get to play in the hay maze and take a hay ride pulled by two big sled horses.
Wesley in the hay maze! Where is he??
We also got to "meet" a horse and a minitaure horse and hang out with some of our friends, both of which was nice.
Wes had a costume parade at school along with his Halloween presentation. Here he is in his room before the presentation, dressed as a monkey!
And this was Wesley's face the entire presentation. In fact, he cried and screamed until I went up on stage with him. Good thing his mommy doesn't get stage fright easily!

The second house that we went to that night trick-or-treating was Reid's boss' house. They have a huge big screen tv. The football game was on. It took Wesley very little time to make himself comfortable!
Needed a little prompting at first but he got the hang of going to people's doors and smiling for candy pretty quickly.
"Look mom! That lady gave me candy! And I can eat it?"
Sitting on someone's lawn high on candy... as my mom said, the toddler version of the neighborhood happy drunk!
Our little monkey at the end of his trick-or-treating. When we were headed back to our car ('cause mommy and daddy were done trick-or-treating) I asked him if he was ready to go home. He said, "No. House. House." I asked, "Do you want to go to another house?" "Yes!" He figured out this house=candy thing pretty fast!
